Ball Update

The Board has decided to go with the Kookaburra 4-pc white "Club Match" or "Regulation" balls for the Premier, Division 1 and Division 2 teams. The league has already worked out a deal with the Kookaburra distributor to procure the balls required for the remainder of the season from July to September. These balls will be available for distribution from July 6, 2009 onwards. Please contact Tanveer Abdullah (647-886-0044) or Joe Clarke (416-275-9606) to get details on the ball price and to exchange the white/pink balls for the Kookaburra balls.

The response for the Pink balls has been overwhelmingly positive. Based on this feedback, for Division 3, Division 4, Division 5 AND Evening T20 Mayor's Cup, PINK BALLS will be used for all games from the week of July 6, 2009. Please contact Tanveer Abdullah (647-886-0044) to collect the pink balls, or exchange the white balls for pink ones.

All exchanges for the 2009 BAS Venom white balls and/or the Pink balls (for Premier/Div1/Div2) will have to be completed by July 19, 2009. No exchanges will be entertained after this date.

The Morning League teams will have the option to use the Kookaburra 4-pc "Club Match" or "Regulation" white balls, or the 2008 BAS Venom white balls for their games.

Evening League T20 (Mayor Cup) Update

The venue for all Thursday games for the Mayor's Cup Evening League T20 has been changed to Dixie/407 North ground (Dixie-A). Only the July 9th Thursday will still be played at the Torbram ground. Please check your schedule for the changes. If you need any further information, please contact Gokul Kamat.

Statistics entry deadline - Friday after game

Please see the "Game results entry and recording" page posted earlier with clear instructions on the entry of stats on the website. We are REPUBLISHING this page for your prompt action on data entry. In line with this posting, points will be deducted from any team not entering the stats by the Friday following the game. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

If for any reason, due to unavoidable circumstances, entering the stats on time may not be possible, please discuss with your division coordinator and get an exemption arranged prior to the Friday deadline. This will be a one-off instance only, and this extension will not go past the following Friday.
